Heavy rains, windstorm wreak havoc in parts of Sopore, damage crops, property | KNO

Baramulla, July 15 (KNO) : Heavy rains and hailstorm damaged crops in Zaingeer belt including Duroo, Botingoo, Dangerpora, Warpora, Watlab and Rafiabad in North Kashmir Baramulla district on Monday evening, causing damage to the crops. People in Zaingeer belt told KNO that heavy rains, wind and hailstorm continued for half an hour for ten minutes, resulting in damage to houses, crops, various fruits and vegetables. Many poplar trees and walnut trees were uprooted due to strong wind. However, no loss of life or injury was reported in the district.(KNO)
